THIS weekend!
On September 12, join the family-friendly, all ages, all paces 5K! Find all the info and register at www.stplc.org/annual-5k.
On September 13, choose from a variety of activities. Join us for roadside cleanup near Cherry Creek Reservoir, writing letters to those recently released from detention centers, repairing carts for Covenant Cupboard, working around the Saint Peter grounds, and more. To help us plan, please sign up for a volunteer slot here.
LUTHERAN FAMILY SERVICES LUNCH & LEARN SEPT 17
Join LFS on Sept 17 from noon to 1 p.m. for a virtual lunch & learn: Supporting Refugees Through Medicaid Changes. This informational session will help you to understand upcoming changes to refugee healthcare benefits and how you can support refugee families during this transition. Beginning October 1, 2026, changes under H.R. 1 will end federally funded Medicaid eligibility for many refugees and asylees who have not yet received green cards.
Register today. Join us to discover how we can continue supporting our neighbors as they face these new challenges.

ALL TOGETHER AT THE PATCH - OCT 4
Each month, Saint Peter friends and family do something fun, all together. In August, we visited the Denver Zoo and enjoyed a behind-the scenes tour with Jesse Knoll. In September, we’re off to Sky Ranch for a mountain retreat.
On October 4, we’re heading to the Patch at 2PM! Come join the fun!
Make plans to attend the next All Together event that works for you. Check out the calendar below. Financial assistance is available. Reach out to Bryan Jaster (bjaster@stplc.org) for more information. Come have fun... All together!
SKY RANCH RETREAT: SEPT 18-20
Register today for this all-ages retreat! This multigenerational event will help you unplug, re-center, and reconnect with your community and creator. Enjoy worship, camp activities, fellowship and great food.
DINNER WITH FRIENDS - SEPT 23
High school youth and adults gather round tables just like Jesus. To love, to play, to learn and be — there is a place for you! This month we are at Rhys and Quincy’s house. Connect with Bryan Jaster (bjaster@stplc.org) for the address.

SAVE YOUR POP TOPS
The Ronald McDonald House serves as a "home away from home" for many folks with hospitalized children. The Pop Tab Recycling Program is an easy way to support this valuable resource. Simply pull off your beverage can tabs or soup tops (anything with a pull tab!) and bring them to church! We will collect them in a large jar in the narthex for delivery and recycling.
HELP SPREAD THE WORD WITH AN StPLC GOOGLE REVIEW!
If you haven’t already left a review online, please take a couple of minutes this week to share with the online world what you think is special about our South Denver church. It’s free to do and will only take you a couple of minutes. You can find instructions from Google here. You can find the Saint Peter listing here.
