There is a place for you here.

Welcoming you since 1981.

Whether you’re new to church, returning after a long time, or just curious, we’re glad you’re here. This is a space to learn more about our mission, what Sundays are like, and how you can get connected.

What can I expect on Sunday?

You will enjoy warmth and hospitality as you walk in the door. Families are welcome to worship together!

After worship, stay for Sundays at Saint Peter - a lineup of food and fellowship, SongFest singalong, and Faith Formation education for all ages.

The Sunday morning (online or in-person) worship service begins at 9:00 a.m. It lasts approximately 60 minutes. The service adheres to the traditional liturgy, a four-fold pattern that includes Gathering, Word, Meal and Sending. Each week we gather, encounter God’s Word, share a meal at the Lord’s table, and are sent into the world. Within the rhythmic, familiar four movements of this ancient liturgical rite are the components that make up a worship service.

During service, you will experience readings from the Old and New Testament, responsive prayers, a sermon, songs of praise, and an open communion table to which all are invited. At Saint Peter, volunteers of all ages are invited to lead us in worship as lectors, communion assistants, and altar guild. A mix of traditional congregational hymns, choral presentations, and contemporary band songs musically weave the liturgical elements together.

All are welcome - come as you are!

Mission of Saint Peter Lutheran Church

Saint Peter Lutheran Church revolves around two key convictions: We are welcomed, and we are sent. We are welcomed into God’s love, just as we are. We are sent into God’s world to be a reflection of Christ.

We believe we are welcomed:

  • Just as we are – with no need to prove ourselves or earn God’s love (and with no fear of being judged by others).

  • Because we are all God’s creation and equally loved by God regardless age, sex, nationality, race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, physical or mental ability, political stance or theological perspective.

  • Into a living relationship with Jesus Christ and each other.

  • Into the peace that comes from knowing God through Christ.

  • Into this particular intergenerational community of faith we call “Saint Peter Lutheran Church.”

We believe we are sent:

  • To be a reflection of the love received from God.

  • To offer ourselves in service to those who are in need.

  • To reach out with compassion to those who are in pain.

  • To be a steward of the earth and an advocate for those needing justice.

  • To live generously with what God has entrusted to us.
