*Host Family: Greet families on Sunday morning and assist with worship service responsibilities
*Lector: Read first lesson and assist with communion
Assisting Minister: Assist with worship service
*Acolyte: Process in with candle/cross, assist with communion, process out (youth or adult)
Tech Team: Shadow tech team to learn more about the sounds board and A/V needs
*Set-up / tear-down for 8am outdoor summer service
Counter: Count the offering after service with an experienced counter
*Nursery Attendant: Watch children in the nursery with an experienced nursery attendant
Altar Guild: Partner with an experienced Altar Guild member to prepare the sanctuary for worship
Altar Guild Laundry: Pick up laundry and wash at home
*Special Music: Provide music (vocal or instrumental) during worship
*Property special project: Identify and complete a special project on church property (inside or outside)
Office Support: Assist with data entry, filing, scanning, printing, etc.
Kitchen Clean-up: Clean kitchen during the week
*Worship Center Clean-up: Clean Sanctuary/Narthex before Sunday worship
Inventory Supplies: Inventory church supplies and create a list of needed supplies
Saint Peter Stitchers: Visit the group to knit/crochet prayer blankets
Chick Lit: Visit the women's book club
Church Chicks-Dress for Success: Take donated hanging clothes to Dress for Success drop-off station
Men's Group: Visit the men's group
*Selian 5k: Participate in the 5K to raise money for Selian Hospital
Selian 5k - Kids Run: Plan and lead the Kid's Run at the Selian 5k
All Ministry Team Night: Provide the food and beverages for the Ministry Team Night on Sept. 5
Rally Sunday: Work with YFM on planning the beginning-of-year celebration
Evening on the labyrinth: Plan and host an evening of fellowship on the labyrinth
Community Event: Plan and host a community event during the summer (similar to Helen Thorpe Community Conversation)
Day Camp - Adult Support: Support Rainbow Trail counselors during the week of Day camp
Day Camp - Older Youth: Support the Rainbow Trail counselors during the week of Day Camp
Day Camp - Presenter: Present your occupation or talent to the kids (e.g., magician, firefighter, police officer, etc)
Day Camp - Host counselors: Provide overnight accommodations for Rainbow Trail Counselors
Day Camp - Coordinate dinner and lunches: Coordinate dinner and lunches during Day Camp
*Connect with church guests: Make a brief home visit to bring a welcome gift to first time visitor
God's Work Our Hands: Be a part of the planning team for this year's God's Work Our Hands
Habitat Build: Participate in a Habitat Build
*Covenant Cupboard: Help out at Covenant Cupboard on a Friday
Covenant Cupboard Christmas: Coordinate the Christmas Gift program for Covenant Cupboard clients. Karyl Meyer will provide training.
*Christ in the City - Lunch in the Park: Help serve lunch in the park for our homeless friends.
*Joshua Station Community Meal Preparation: Help prepare the meal to be served at the transitional community
*Joshua Station Community Meal: Serve and join the residents of Joshua Station for their Community Meal
*The Delores Project: Prepare and serve lunch or dinner to the women at the women's shelter
*Visit with / Drive StPLC seniors: Provide transportation to Saint Peter senior members that need help getting around
Home small group study: Host a small group Book Study or fellowship event in your home
*Produce a video for StPLC YouTube channel: Document an event, profile a ministry...anything your creative mind can come up with!
*Write a blog post/newsletter article for StPLC weekly: Share what's on your mind and in your heart with your faith community.
*Update the StPLC Outdoor Sign: Come up with noticeable messages for the movable-type sign in front of the church building.
