COMMITMENT SUNDAY: NOVEMBER 8!

Stewardship season is an exciting invitation to share your time, talent and treasure in support of the mission and ministry of Saint Peter.

Whatever your financial commitment, we invite all 103 Saint Peter households to participate online or on Commitment Sunday on November 8 by confidentially sharing their 2027 plans. Thank you for all you bring to our community through your time, talents, financial support, and loving presence.

This year, let’s make room for more at the table, welcoming new visitors, supporting new staff, and growing ministries beyond our walls.

THANK YOU!

ADVENT DEVOTIONAL

Advent is a time to slow down, make room for hope, and remember the light that Christ brings into our lives. Help us create this year’s Saint Peter Community Advent Devotional!

It’s easy to participate — simply send Arielle (awilson@stplc.org) a favorite Advent tradition, song, Scripture passage, prayer, photo, drawing, or anything else that helps make Advent meaningful to you. We’d love to include your contribution!

COVENANT CUPBOARD FUNDRAISERS

Between November 1 and January 1, stop in at Chicken Salad Chick (5322 DTC Blvd.) and buy a Giving Card for $5. Then, in 2027, use your card for $75 worth of special rewards (one offer per month). The money from the purchase of Giving Cards will benefit Covenant Cupboard and the organization Cure Childhood Cancer.

Do you get tired of turkey leftovers after Thanksgiving? Then consider pizza instead! On Monday, November 30, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., join other CCFP supporters at Parry’s Pizzeria & Taphouse (5970 S. Holly St. in Greenwood Village). When you order, mention Covenant Cupboard, and 20% of your order amount will be donated to support the mission of the food pantry.

Spread the word to friends, family, and colleagues to help increase the power of these fundraisers!

WHOLLY KICKS: NOV 15 (11:30AM - 2PM)

Serve together with our friends from Joy Lutheran! We will lunch together at Saint Peter and carpool to the Wholly Kicks warehouse. We will prepare 2000 pairs of shoes for Santa in the Park. Contact Faith Formation Minister Bryan Jaster (bjaster@stplc.org) with questions.

FAITH AT TIMES OF CRISES: NOV 18

When: November, 18 at 7:00 p.m.
Where: Montview Presbyterian Church (1980 Dahlia St.) Interested in carpooling? Contact Bryan (bjaster@stplc.org).

This will be an evening of honest conversation about what it means to respond to the crises shaping our world through a faith perspective and how we can promote justice and invest in hope for tomorrow. Learn and participate in a powerful dialogue, and ask the questions on your mind about the situations we are facing right now. Join us at Montview Boulevard Presbyterian Church to hear five theologians, scholars, writers, and faith leaders from Palestine and the United States in conversation.

Space is limited, and registration is encouraged at brightstarsbethlehem.org/events-recordings/montview.

THE CCFP TOY STORE IS COMING!

SAVE YOUR POP TOPS

The Ronald McDonald House serves as a "home away from home" for many folks with hospitalized children. The Pop Tab Recycling Program is an easy way to support this valuable resource. Simply pull off your beverage can tabs or soup tops (anything with a pull tab!) and bring them to church! We will collect them in a large jar in the narthex for delivery and recycling.

HELP SPREAD THE WORD WITH AN StPLC GOOGLE REVIEW!

If you haven’t already left a review online, please take a couple of minutes this week to share with the online world what you think is special about our South Denver church.
