MAGGIE AND HALLE AFFIRM THEIR BAPTISM
It was a delight to celebrate with Maggie and Halle and their families as they affirmed their baptism on May 24. May God continue to guide and strengthen them as they grow in faith, love, and service. Congratulations on this special milestone, and may God’s blessings be with you always.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR YOUR EDUCATION
The annual Ron Leighton Memorial Scholarship application process is open. If you are an active St. Peter member, a role model for others, and if you have been accepted to an accredited post-secondary educational program and you have a specific educational goal, you are eligible to apply. There are no financial needs, grades, or age requirements.
The process includes completing an application, submitting a short essay, providing some references, and participating in an interview with the Scholarship Committee. Applications and instructions are available on stplc.org for you to print, complete and return to the church office. Questions? Reach out to Dena Johnson (denajohnson701@gmail.com), Jodie Davis (jodiea@mac.com), or Steve Leighton (leightonss@hotmail.com). Remember: the deadline is June 17th.
DEDICATION OF BAPTISMAL FONTS
We enjoyed dedicating the new baptismal fonts to their holy purpose on May 24.
The baptismal fonts were given in loving memory of Olive Zoe Doehling, who was lovingly known as Zoe. Her husband, Don, and daughter, Sandra Pequette, were asked how they would like the memorial funds to be used, and together we felt that creating a new baptismal font would be a meaningful tribute, especially since our existing font had developed significant cracks and was nearing the end of its usable life.
For many years, we searched for someone who could create a replacement font, but the size and complexity of the project made it difficult to find an artist willing to undertake the work. We were finally blessed to connect with an artist in Santa Fe, New Mexico, who was able to create not just one, but two beautiful fonts inspired by the church’s liturgical seasons and colors throughout the year.
Sadly, Don passed away before the new fonts could be completed. These fonts now stand as a lasting testament to the faith, love, and legacy of both Zoe and Don, and will continue to welcome generations into the waters of baptism for years to come.

Register today for this all-ages retreat! This multigenerational event will help you unplug, re-center, and reconnect with your community and creator. Enjoy worship, camp activities, fellowship and great food!
Want to try something new? There are lots of special activities to sign up for. Interested in trying your hand at fly fishing? Pastor Brian Begrum invites you to learn a new skill in God’s wild and broad creation. It will make you want to don your waders and jump in! (Or would that scare the fish?)

Impact Week is here! On Sunday, June 7th from 1 to 3 p.m. join the Impact Week block party at Covenant Presbyterian! There will be a Kona Ice Truck (first 50 cones free!), taco truck, bounce houses for kids, FREE coffee from Goodhart Coffee, and lawn games. SAVE YOUR POP TOPS
The Ronald McDonald House serves as a "home away from home" for many folks with hospitalized children. The Pop Tab Recycling Program is an easy way to support this valuable resource. Simply pull off your beverage can tabs or soup tops (anything with a pull tab!) and bring them to church! We will collect them in a large jar in the narthex for delivery and recycling.
