WHERE IN THE WORLD…
"I was a stranger and you welcomed me...." Matthew 25:35
This Sunday, our Lent discussion on immigration will include sharing our stories and listening to the stories of others. Please take a moment to mark your country/countries of origin with a pin on the map located in the southwest corner of the narthex. Please consider these questions for sharing/discussing on Sunday:
How did ancestors or your family arrive in North America?
Have you moved from one country/state to another?
What was helpful and what was challenging during the migration?
Where do we see ourselves in these stories and the stories of people in the Bible (Hagar, Adam and Eve, Abraham, Jesus, Joseph(s) and many more)?
We invite you to bring photos, artifacts, or any representation of your immigration story to class this Sunday.
ALL TOGETHER: URBAN AIR
About 20 folks connected, jumped, climbed, zoomed and played on February 22! Stay tuned for the next ALL TOGETHER event!
WHO YOU WALKIN’ WITH?
Save the date for Wholly Kicks: April 19 at 11:30 a.m. We will lunch together at Saint Peter then carpool to sort 1,500 pairs of shoes together to bring dignity and new shoes to kids all over Denver.
SAVE THE DATE: STPLC RETREAT AT SKY RANCH SEPT 18-20
We're planning a church retreat at Sky Ranch! Please put in on your calendar! Check out skyranchcolorado.org. Want to help create the adventure? Contact Bryan for more information (bjaster@stplc.org).
IMAGINE MORE: 2027 ELCA YOUTH GATHERING
Our youth are getting excited about our 2026 Service Learning Camps (reach out to Bryan to learn more!), and in the back of our minds we are counting down to Imagine More at the 2027 ELCA Youth Gathering to join thousands in Minneapolis! The 2027 Gathering’s theme is Imagine More! Based on Ephesians 3:20, the Gathering will be a space for young people to Imagine More: love, welcome, joy, courage, and grace. Interested in getting your teen connected? Reach out to Bryan Jaster (bjaster@stplc.org).

SAVE YOUR POP TOPS
The Ronald McDonald House serves as a "home away from home" for many folks with hospitalized children. The Pop Tab Recycling Program is an easy way to support this valuable resource. Simply pull off your beverage can tabs or soup tops (anything with a pull tab!) and bring them to church! We will collect them in a large jar in the narthex for delivery and recycling.
HELP SPREAD THE WORD WITH AN StPLC GOOGLE REVIEW!
If you haven’t already left a review online, please take a couple of minutes this week to share with the online world what you think is special about our South Denver church. It’s free to do and will only take you a couple of minutes. You can find instructions from Google here. You can find the Saint Peter listing here.
