WHOLLY KICKS SERVICE
Saint Peter folks helped sort shoes at the Wholly Kicks warehouse on April 19. Wholly Kicks is a non-profit that provides shoes and socks for people facing hardship or disability in Aurora and Denver. Stay tuned for our next service project!
Hard to believe, but it’s time to make those Day Camp plans for summer 2026. Share with friends and neighbors! Day Camp blends friends, faith, and a lot of fun. Reach out to Faith Formation minister Bryan Jaster (bjaster@stplc.org) for more information. See you this summer!
YOUTH LEAD GATHERING
Saint Peter youth and their caring adults gathered for YOUTH LEAD in Loveland at Zion Lutheran Church on April 11. We connected with each other, practiced meeting new people, listened with our hearts, ears, eyes, and brains, and developed a plan for helping people. Thank you to the community of Saint Peter for your continued support of Faith Formation! What a gift it is to follow Jesus together!
Give blood on May 23, and you’ll receive a customizable “I give for…” T-shirt, redeemable through Donor Rewards! (Terms and conditions apply — see vitalant.org/customtee for more information about opting into Donor Rewards.)
VOLUNTEERS OF AMERICA HYGIENE DRIVE
Volunteers of America Colorado recently opened the Lakewood Navigation Center, a bold step forward in addressing homelessness with dignity and accountability. It is the ONLY shelter along the I-70 corridor west of Denver and east of Grand Junction.
The shelter is looking for donations of hygiene products for both men and women: body wash, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, feminine hygiene products, etc. From April 5 through April 26, you may drop your donation in the bin provided in the narthex at Saint Peter. Thank you!
Here’s another way to help: Covenant Cupboard Food Pantry will receive the donations from zip code 80111. Can you help sort the goods? Sign up at tinyurl.com/CCFP2026. Thank you!

The team is looking for helpers Memorial Day weekend. If you would like more information, please contact Michael Di Lisa Jr. (mike.prc.51@gmail.com or 303- 908-8600). Thank you for considering!

IMAGINE MORE: 2027 ELCA YOUTH GATHERING
Our youth are getting excited about our 2026 Service Learning Camps (reach out to Bryan to learn more!), and in the back of our minds we are counting down to Imagine More at the 2027 ELCA Youth Gathering to join thousands in Minneapolis! The 2027 Gathering’s theme is Imagine More! Based on Ephesians 3:20, the Gathering will be a space for young people to Imagine More: love, welcome, joy, courage, and grace. Interested in getting your teen connected? Reach out to Bryan Jaster (bjaster@stplc.org).

SAVE YOUR POP TOPS
The Ronald McDonald House serves as a "home away from home" for many folks with hospitalized children. The Pop Tab Recycling Program is an easy way to support this valuable resource. Simply pull off your beverage can tabs or soup tops (anything with a pull tab!) and bring them to church! We will collect them in a large jar in the narthex for delivery and recycling.
HELP SPREAD THE WORD WITH AN StPLC GOOGLE REVIEW!
If you haven’t already left a review online, please take a couple of minutes this week to share with the online world what you think is special about our South Denver church. It’s free to do and will only take you a couple of minutes. You can find instructions from Google here. You can find the Saint Peter listing here.
