FROM COUNCIL PRESIDENT STEVE HAIGH
With unanimity and enthusiasm, the congregation of Saint Peter Lutheran Church voted Sunday, July 13, to call Pastor Dan Burris as minister of word and sacrament. Pastor Dan likely will begin his work at Saint Peter in early September.
As our new journey begins, helmed by a dynamic spiritual leader and Christ follower, we pray that Saint Peter Lutheran Church will thrive as a holy place of inviting, learning, sharing and healing. We praise you, Lord Jesus, for sustaining our community through years of uncertainty, and we ask you to keep Pastor Dan and his family safe as they make their way into our welcoming arms. All glory, honor and praise to you, oh Lord! Your Saint Peter children love and worship you.
Steve Haigh, Council president

SAVE YOUR POP TOPS
The Ronald McDonald House serves as a "home away from home" for many folks with hospitalized children. The Pop Tab Recycling Program is an easy way to support this valuable resource. Simply pull off your beverage can tabs or soup tops (anything with a pull tab!) and bring them to church! We will collect them in a large jar in the narthex for delivery and recycling.
