Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) Starts Sept 15

Calling all mamas and mamas-to-be! Please join us for our MOPS kickoff on September 15th from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. This will be our intro to a year packed with awesome activities! Brunch munchies and free childcare are always provided.

September meetings will be on the 15th and the 29th, and the rest will follow our usual 2nd and 4th Saturday schedule. We hope to see you there! If we can answer any questions, email Lindsay (lindsay.p@me.com) or Stephanie (stephanieaswift@gmail.com).

Join the Chick Lit Book Club

The next Chick Lit Book Club is scheduled for September 20. We will meet at church at 7:00 p.m. in the Covenant Hall to discuss The Ninth Hour, by Alice McDermott. Join us for fellowship and lively discussion.

Men’s Fly Fishing Retreat at Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp; September 20-23

Experience a weekend of faith renewal, fellowship, and fishing. Hearty meals, worship, and camaraderie around the campfire will be woven into the weekend so all can come away renewed spiritually, mentally, and physically. For more information, contact Pastor Dave at the church office, or simply follow this link to register: http://www.rainbowtrail.org/retreats/fly-fishing/.

Theater and Theology

Theater and Theology is a ministry of the Rocky Mountain Synod in which participating congregations enjoy a special arrangement with the Theater Company of the Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA), where after viewing a performance together we engage cast members in a moderated talkback on theological issues in each play. All Saint Peter members are invited to join in a fun night out at the theater together. We receive a reduced ticket price of $35 per performance.

Contact Jeanne Maloney if you have questions at jmaloney@stplc.org. The next performance is The Constant Wife on Tuesday, October 2 at 6:30 p.m.
