THE TOY DRIVE IS COMING!

Get ready for the annual Covenant Cupboard Food Pantry Toy Drive! We will collect new, unwrapped toys for kids (newborns to age 12). By thinking ahead and buying now, your generosity can stretch further and make an even bigger impact. The official CCFP Toy Drive Shopping days will be Friday, December 5, and Friday, December 12. But it’s never too soon to start preparing to make this our biggest year yet. Look for a signup link in the fall!

COVENANT CUPBOARD DRIVERS

Covenant Cupboard Food Pantry relies on volunteer drivers for donation pickups most weekday mornings. Some of our current drivers are stepping back due to age or health concerns. Are you recently retired and looking for a meaningful way to give back? Do you have a strong back and some free time in the mornings?

Here’s where we need help most right now...

Thursday Mornings (8:30 a.m.): Pickup from the Walmart on Hampden using our pantry truck. This is one of our larger pickups, so we’d ideally like two volunteers for this route. Training available on Wednesday, 9/11, with our Transportation Coordinator.

Coming Soon – Friday Mornings: Pickup from King Soopers at Belleview & Yosemite. This route requires a large personal vehicle since our truck is already in use.

If you're interested in helping out, even occasionally, please let Laura know (guthals@msn.com). We’d love to have you on board. Thank you!

HIGH SCHOOL MEETUP - OCT 22

THE MUSIC MINISTRY NEEDS YOU!

MAIL CALL!

Saint Peter Lutheran Church has a new MAILING address! You can send your mail securely to our new P.O. box. The address is:

SAVE YOUR POP TOPS

The Ronald McDonald House serves as a "home away from home" for many folks with hospitalized children. The Pop Tab Recycling Program is an easy way to support this valuable resource. Simply pull off your beverage can tabs or soup tops (anything with a pull tab!) and bring them to church! We will collect them in a large jar in the narthex for delivery and recycling.

HELP SPREAD THE WORD WITH AN StPLC GOOGLE REVIEW!

If you haven’t already left a review online, please take a couple of minutes this week to share with the online world what you think is special about our South Denver church. It’s free to do and will only take you a couple of minutes. You can find instructions from Google here. You can find the Saint Peter listing here.
