BLOOD DRIVE AT SAINT PETER - AUG 16

REGISTER FOR THE 5K!

The 17th Annual “We run that they may walk” walk/run 5K is right around the corner, and registration is open. Spread the word to friends and neighbors! Register HERE. Can’t be there but want to support health ministries in Tanzania? Pay for registration and donations online at stplc.org/support or by check or cash. Your registration includes an amazing T-shirt designed by our own Brittany Hass, music provided by Beryl Fanslow Wilson and other members of our worship band, African food from Msosi Kenyan Cuisine, coffee drinks, ice cream, and treats from Aunt LuAnn’s Cotton Candy food truck, and door prizes, including several handcrafted items from Tanzania. Activities will be provided for children before, during, and after the race. We still need some volunteers on the day of the race to set up tents, tables, and chairs, check in registrants, and help with cleanup. Contact Terri (mohrhaust@gmail.com), Carol (carolmayorco@aol.com), or Valerie (valerie@rrwatkins.com) to help!

Check out the 2025 5K shirt!

BLESSING OF THE BACKPACKS - AUG 17

Kick off the 2025-2026 school year with a blessing! During worship on Sunday, August 17, we will bless students, teachers and anyone needing a blessing for the days ahead. Bring your backpack, school bag, sports bag, or whatever bag you use each day, and you'll receive a "Be Kind" tag! May we all BE KIND like Jesus this year as we study, work and play.

HIGH SCHOOL MINISTRIES - AUG 17, 10-11:30AM

Calling all high school youth and their parents or caring adults! Come to the StPLC youth room after worship from 10-11:30 a.m. on Sunday, August 17. We will explore an overview of Service Learning Camps activities for 2025-2026. Come connect with others, hear about plans for fall, retreats, Summer 2026 Service Learning Trip and more. Come bring your ideas, brainstorm and create! (There will also be food!)

HIGH SCHOOL MEETUP - SEPT 17

COVENANT CUPBOARD FOOD WAGON

Fill the Covenant Cupboard wagon with canned food and items for those in need. Our neighbors need food!

Are you able to add a few things to your cart to donate to the pantry? CCFP is asking for the following items: cereal, pasta/rice, macaroni & cheese, canned tuna/meat, canned soups/chili, canned fruit, canned tomatoes, canned vegetables, peanut butter.

Fresh produce may be donated each Friday morning at 5400 S. Yosemite St. in Greenwood Village. Thank you for your generosity!

MAIL CALL!

Saint Peter Lutheran Church has a new MAILING address! You can send your mail securely to our new P.O. box. The address is:
Saint Peter Lutheran Church
P.O. Box 3079
Greenwood Village, CO 80155

Thank you!

SAVE YOUR POP TOPS

The Ronald McDonald House serves as a "home away from home" for many folks with hospitalized children. The Pop Tab Recycling Program is an easy way to support this valuable resource. Simply pull off your beverage can tabs or soup tops (anything with a pull tab!) and bring them to church! We will collect them in a large jar in the narthex for delivery and recycling.

HELP SPREAD THE WORD WITH AN StPLC GOOGLE REVIEW!

It’s free to do and will only take you a couple of minutes. You can find instructions from Google here. You can find the Saint Peter listing here.
