Come and worship
The Sunday morning hybrid (online or in person) worship service begins at 9:00 a.m. It lasts approximately 60 minutes. The service adheres to the traditional liturgy, a four-fold pattern that includes Gathering, Word, Meal and Sending. Each week we gather, encounter God’s Word, share a meal at the Lord’s table, and are sent into the world. Within the rhythmic, familiar four movements of this ancient liturgical rite are the components that make up a worship service.
Hospitality
You will enjoy warmth and hospitality as you walk in the door. There is a loving place for you here, whether this is your first or thousandth visit. Families are welcome to worship together, or there are additional Faith Formation options for young people during the school year.
worship
You will experience readings from the Old and New Testament, responsive prayers, a sermon, songs of praise, and an open communion table to which all are invited. At Saint Peter, volunteers of all ages are invited to lead us in worship as lectors, communion assistants, and altar guild. A mix of traditional congregational hymns, choral presentations, and contemporary band songs musically weave the liturgical elements together.
faith
At Saint Peter, we strive to model the invitation to Holy Communion on our Lord’s inclusivity. If you desire to meet Christ in the meal, you are more than welcome to commune at Saint Peter Lutheran Church. All are welcome.
