Here's what's happening at Saint Peter this month.
All Daughter's Brunch Saturday, May 12
The men of Saint Peter would like to cordially invite all the ladies to enjoy brunch at our annual All Daughters Brunch! This is a celebration of all the moms and daughters who are part of our lives. Everyone is welcome so please invite your friends and family! The celebration will be held on Saturday, May 12 from 10:00 a.m. to noon. The men will be serving brunch in the Fellowship Hall.
Participate in the May 19th Habitat Build
We were able to secure 5 volunteer spots for the Habitat for Humanity build at Sheridan Square on Saturday, May 19th. If you’ve never experienced a Habitat build, now would be a great time to join some of your fellow Saint Peter members. Volunteering for Habitat for Humanity is a great way to give back to the community. We will be providing lunch and a Saint Peter/Holy Hammers/Habitat for Humanity tee shirt. Bake Sale May 20th
Audrey Koenig, a member of Saint Peter, will be traveling on a mission trip to Nicaragua this June. While there, her group will be supporting the Casa Llanta Fund projects, including Manos Unidas: a co-op of young adults with disabilities who make and sell tote bags from recycled rice-bags, and Escuela Adelante and Carizal English classes: which work to teach students English. To help her with travel expenses, Audrey will be holding a bake sale between the first and second services on Sunday, May 20th. The congregation is invited to participate in this bake sale, and support Audrey ’s work in Nicaragua.
Register for the Selian 5K Run/Walk Held on Saturday, June 16th at 8:00 a.m.
Thanks to you, we met our goal of a $70,000 donation for the Selian nursing school just before Thanksgiving last year. We continue our commitment to support all the ministries associated with Selian, and this year ’s donation will be available for them to spend as needed. We plan to structure this year's Selian 5k much like last year, by making good use of our labyrinth area for social time, family activities, and post-race snacks. We hope you can join us that day or sponsor another runner or walker. Save the date!

Faith Day at the Colorado Rockies is Sunday, July 29th at 1:10 pm. Laura Guthals has already reserved 30 tickets for Saint Peter members, friends, family, and guests. Please contact her to get your tickets.
