God's work. Our hands. Underway at Saint Peter

Thank you to everyone who attended the August 28th Sunday’s God’s work. Our hands. launch! Saint Peter got off to a strong start for its seven-week-long service event. There is plenty of room for you to participate in one or more of the 15+ service project offerings through October 9th!

The science fair displays and signup forms will remain in the Narthex for the next couple of weeks. Below you will find photos of our displays along with those myth vs fact cards. Click the images to see a larger size of each.

Last, we will celebrate all of our God’s work. Our hands. activities on Sunday, October 9th at Saint Peter during and after Worship. See you there!

Loving Your Neighbor In Time Of Covid

Loving Your Neighbor In Time Of Covid

Every other Sunday starting in April and lasting through October, Saint Peter will feature a cause or organization that is near and dear to our church community. Below are links and summaries to those we’ve already lifted up. Be sure to check back for additional information and ways to give back to those most affected by COVID-19.

Community Service as a Core Component of Christian Life (Pt 2)

Community Service as a Core Component of Christian Life (Pt 2)

Connections stand at the heart of why Christians become involved in community service. Meeting physical needs — a meal, a pair of shoes, a warm jacket — can be very important, but even more vital is time spent face-to-face, looking one another in the eye, saying with actions more than with words that we care; that we see them as a child of God; someone with value and dignity.
