Check Out The Refresh Tracking Quilt

Your Congregation Council invites you to give a special gift to update our facilities. The goal is to raise $50,000 for painting the Worship Center and kitchen; carpet replacement in the Worship Center, Narthex and entryway; refinishing the hardwood floors on the chancel; all new kitchen appliances, countertops, sink, faucet and cabinet hardware.

The Bible mentions “cubits"—an ancient measure of length, approximately equal to the length of a forearm. To see the progress of our gifts, we have designated one cubit to be worth $20, so you can “buy” one cubit with your gift of $20...or 5 cubits for $100...or give even more. Our goal is to sell 2,500 cubits from July 15 through August 15. Gifts of all sizes are welcomed and needed to reach our $50,000 goal to improve the interior of our facility.

Visit our “Refresh Tracking Quilt” by the main entrance to see our fundraising progress.

Walk With God

Wouldn’t it be a treat to have some undistracted time to really focus on your faith, reflecting on your unique faith story and how God continues to call you into a deeper relationship with Christ?

A Walk with God gives you an opportunity to do just that. The next Walk will be on Sunday, August 12 immediately following the 10:00 a.m. service. We will begin with lunch and be done by 1:30 p.m. Childcare is available.

If you have any questions or want to participate, please Jeanne Maloney.

Back By Popular Demand - 3 Squares!

What is 3 Squares? A way to get to know members and non-members within our congregation on a fun and informal basis. All are welcome - singles, couples, and families. Each person/couple is a corner and the guest person/couple completes the square.

Sign-up sheets will be on the doors in the Narthex, deadline for signup is August 12th. The groups will be assigned by August 15th, and then in September you can start the fun!
It sometimes takes a little planning to find a good date for all in your group. This is a great way to enjoy connecting with old friends and make some new friends at Saint Peter.

It Is Not Too Late to Join the Chick Lit Book Club

The next two dates are August 16 and September 20. We meet at church at 7:00 p.m. in the Covenant Hall. Join us for fellowship and lively discussion as we review these two books.

August 16 - The Last Castle: The Epic Story of Love, Loss, and American Royalty in the Nation’s Largest  Home, by  Denise  Kiernan

September 20 - The Ninth Hour, by Alice McDermott
