Welcome to Saint Peter Lutheran Church, or at least to our online presence. I am glad that you stopped by for a visit, and I hope you will come back and visit us again some time soon. But be aware that Saint Peter online will never fully reflect the warmth, faith, enthusiasm and meaning of Saint Peter in person. So please come by and worship with us some time soon. I know that you will be warmly welcomed, and I look forward to meeting you.
The people of Saint Peter are committed to offering a warm and genuine welcome to all who might choose to join us. Every aspect of our ministry is open to all people, including our communion table during worship services. We further believe that God has equipped every person with unique gifts and abilities, and is calling us to go and make a difference, by being a reflection of Christ’s love in the world that surrounds us.
We are a liturgical congregation, which means that our times of worship are shaped by the ancient traditions of the church. At the same time, we strive to present those traditions with music and language that speaks to today’s Christian.
Saint Peter is a community that loves and honors the young people in our midst. They are fully involved in our life together, and have a variety of opportunities to gather with one another. At Saint Peter, you will find people of all ages who are committed to life-long learning. Bible studies and issues forums are regularly available for those who want to continue learning about our God and our faith. Saint Peter is a caring community, and through formal and informal efforts, we reach out with love and compassion to those who are in times of need.

Saint Peter is a member congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. We are enriched and inspired by our Lutheran heritage and traditions. But most of all, we understand ourselves as Christians: redeemed and renewed by the grace of God that we have come to know in Jesus Christ.
Thank you for your interest in our congregation. I encourage you to worship with us some time soon. If you have any questions about our ministries, please give our office a call, or send me an e-mail message. I’d love to hear from you.
God’s peace to you all,

Pastor David J. Risendal
