Habitat for Humanity At Saint Peter
Saint Peter Lutheran Church has a heart for Habitat for Humanity, and supports the local Metro Denver affiliate in our participation with the Holy Hammers, a coalition of churches that funds and builds homes in the Denver area. This year we helped in the first five units completed with the help of Thrivent Builds at the Bails Place project. Likewise, volunteers are working shifts at the Habitat Outlet stores, providing support to the recycling of building and home improvement materials. All proceeds from sales at these stores support the overhead of the local Metro Denver affiliate, allowing all other monetary donations to go directly into the building of affordable housing.
