Catechism Ministry
Catechetical studies provide the young people of Saint Peter with an opportunity to learn about our God, our faith, and our church, to become committed, faithful disciples of Jesus Christ, and to prepare for adult membership in the church. It is a ministry of the church, but intends to be a support and encouragement for the ministry that takes place in the household. Central to the work of this team is the desire to help families share faith from generation to generation. Involving both young people and their parents, Saint Peter’s Catechism Ministry intends to provide families with the impetus and resources to grow together in faith, and in the commitment to live as followers of Christ.
